Merry Christmas from Conservative Friends.

(D) House Rep Being told to be quiet from the White house and Pelosi

Rep. Bart Stupak (D-Mich.) said the White House and the Democratic leadership in the House of Representatives have been pressuring him not to speak out on the "compromise" abortion language in the Senate version of the health care bill.
“They think I shouldn’t be expressing my views on this bill until they get a chance to try to sell me the language,” Stupak told CNSNews.com in an interview on Tuesday. “Well, I don’t need anyone to sell me the language. I can read it. I’ve seen it. I’ve worked with it. I know what it says. I don’t need to have a conference with the White House. I have the legislation in front of me here.”  Story from Realclear politics.

A new power structure in Yamhill County.

The county commissioners from Yamhill County have restructured the way day to day decisions are made. CFYC endorses the new structure. It along with the other changes made, should eliminate the issues that plagued the board concerning the helicopter and the Shell game with the money.  However it does not resolve the fact that all 3 BOC knew about the problems and waited till last spring to act. That is another topic we will revisit when the state is finished with its investigation.
Laura Tschabold is a very capable administrator. She should do a fine job. Will she get the backing from the BOC,or will she get deals made behind her back? Time will tell.Good luck Laura.

Kevin Jefferies running for House Rep Seat 24

While an "official" announcement is yet to be made. We know Ultra Lefty Kevin Jefferies is running for House seat 24. He has a campaign manager and they were at  Jim Weidner's town hall. He currently is the legislative Aid for wacky House Rep Chuck Riley.  Kevin, was also the losing Campaign Manager for for Burnt "Al" Hanson, who lost in 2008 to Jim Weidner. That should tell you a lot. Yet to be seen is weather Speaker Dave Hunt, will fund this effort. The House speaker has made it know he wants to take out Jim Weidner. Mr Jefferies is their second choice. Speaker Hunt tried unsuccessfully to get County commissioner Mary Stern to run. Speaker Hunt has threatened to Dump 500,000 dollars to unseat Jim Weidner. This of course was over Jim weidners no vote on the lousy transportation bill HB2001.

House Rep Jim Weidner Townhall not covered By News Register

House Rep(Seat 24) Jim Weidner held a "Health-care town hall. The NewsRegister was there, yet decided to not publish what happened. Why was that? Could it be the BI-Partisan panel was not knowledgeable? The panel consisted of local doctors, Insurance Representatives, And House Rep Ron Mauer from Grants Pass. Nope it was more of their declared war on conservatives. This panel had democrats, republicans, and independents. It explained how the proposed system would impact the doctors and Medicaid and Medicare. They also explained why so many doctors are not taking new patients.
Dr Eric Swensson Explained The "RVU" system. Relative Value Unit system. This is how the doctors are paid from medicare and medicaid. The system gives you a number of credits per procedure. Example if you have an leg amputation it is paid at 29 R.V.U's.  1 RVU equal $29.31.  So you get $849.99. For the procedure. This includes 3 months post supervision. It take 44 RVU's for a doctor to break even per patient. They are losing money for every Medicaid/Medicare patient they take care of. The Senate health-care plan Cuts the money per RVU. Why would any private practice Doctor take a Medicaid/Medicare patient? That is why the seniors are in big trouble. Do the hospitals now pic up these patients private docs won't see? How do we get health-care to them without rationing health-care services?

Kris Bledsoe calls for more laws!

Kris Bledsoe is calling for more government laws. This time she wants water laws. Yes water laws, the laws she wants are the ones where the government controls your water. The water you were deeded when you bought your property. She even talked about the wineries, "before we open a new tasting room we need to see how it will impact the water".  Sound familiar business controlled by the county water police. Just ask our friends in Bend what they think of the water exchange forced onto them.  http://www.cascadepolicy.org/2009/12/16/water-storage-can-provide-many-benefits/. Nice piece on HB3369.    which happens to be the new proposed state water plan, being pushed by the lefties. Pay attention, There is a movement underway to take your water rights. Kris Bledsoe is leading the way at the local level.!!

Yanhill County Unemployment Falls! Say what?

Local unemployment statics say unemployment went down. Yet we still LOST 280 private sector jobs. The only sector that grew? Yep Government jobs 40 of them. What happened to the the people who were unemployed? How can unemployment go down, when we are still losing jobs?
